Disable "On Play Announcement" in Ring Central

If you have your call forwarding set up through the extensions on your Ring Central account, you will need to manually disable the 'on play announcement' that requires pressing 1 to answer the call. This setting interferes with the call forwarding process, and the following steps show you how to disable this.

1. Go to the Users tab on top of your Ring Central Dashboard, then go to Users with Extensions.
2. Under Call Handling & Forwarding click on the Settings tab, and then go to Edit under Incoming Call Information.
3. Click on the Play Announcement tab, and then use the drop-down menu to set your Direct Calls to Never.
4. Then click Save.
