How to Forward Calls from Google Voice / Caller ID Enable in Google Voice to CaptureNow

To Forward Your Existing Google Voice Number to CaptureNow

1. Login to your Google Voice dashboard.

2. In your Google Voice dashboard, select the Settings icon in to top right of the page.

3. Go to "Linked Numbers" and Click New Linked Number.

4. Enter Your CaptureNow number

5. When the dialog box appears, click SEND CODE. (Make sure you don't have your call forwarding on yet, so you can receive the code directly.)

6. Enter the 6-digit code and click VERIFY.

7. Click FINISH.  

Enabling Caller ID

After you finish setting the Call Forwarding please make sure your caller ID is enabled so your clients number is the CallerID in CaptureNow.

1. Navigate to your Calls menu from your Settings
2. Under Show my Google Voice number as Caller ID, you will want to make sure it is toggled OFF, to ensure your Google number does not show on every forwarded call.

Once you enable Caller ID CaptureNow will be able to verify the best contact number(s).  

Disabling Automated Call Announcement

Lastly, you may want to turn off the automated call announcement message so there is no delay when connecting your call to CaptureNow.

1. Go to your account Settings, and click the Calls tab.
2. Toggle off the setting for Screen Calls.
