How to Forward Calls from Line 2 to CaptureNow

To Forward Calls via Online Dashboard

  1. Login to your Line2 Dashboard.

  2. Go to the left navigation menu, and click Call Handling

On a mobile device.

  1. Click the 3 line icon on the top left to see the full navigation menu.

  2. Click on Forwarding, and then enter your CaptureNow number under Forwarding numbers. Toggle the slider to the right to Enable. 

  3. Check the amount of rings under, "If Unanswered After Forwarding" to make sure you are allowing enough time for our receptionists to answer your calls. We strongly suggest setting this to 3.

  4. Click Save

  5. Return to your Call Handling page to verify that forwarding is on, and toggled to green. While on this screen you should also decide if you want your Line2 apps on or off.

Having the Line2 apps toggled ON will send calls to your app first, and then forward to CaptureNow if you don't answer the call within the app. Using this feature may result in delays in our ability to answer your calls. Turning it off will ensure your calls go directly to us with no delay.
